Veterans never pay. That's not a promotion, a discount code, or a campaign — it has been how he operates since the day he opened.

He came up in a community that gave him a second look when it didn't have to. The way he sees it, a business that only takes from a neighborhood isn't much of a business. So he shows up: for veterans, for young people, for the folks who walk in carrying something heavier than a pair of shoes.

Fatherhood & Legacy

The accomplishment he is proudest of isn't a business.

He raised two sons who became combat-experienced Marines.

One of them went on to serve in a public-safety role in Essex County, working daily with violent and gang-affiliated inmates — and bought his own home. Neither of them inherited an easy start. What they inherited was an example.

Responsibility, discipline, and resilience aren't things he lectures about. They were demonstrated at a kitchen table, on long work days, and through years when quitting would have been the reasonable choice.
